Sell online across Europe with the Kaufland marketplaces

Register as a Kaufland Global Marketplace seller

In order to sell on the Kaufland marketplaces, you must register as a seller. For more information on registration, click here.

Select the desired online marketplaces for selling

Once your seller account has been activated, select your primary sales channel and then proceed with the onboarding settings. Your primary sales channel is just the one that you will open first – your choice has no other effects for the time being.

Create shipping groups

You can set your personalised shipping conditions under the “Shipping groups” item. Apart from the shipping method, your shipping settings are also the place where you set your shipping countries and shipping rates, as well as transport time.

Activate automatic product data translation

You can list your product data for each marketplace when you already have translations of your product data available. If this is not the case, you can use our free automated product data translation service to have your existing product data translated free of charge.

Create offers

The offer details include your personal information regarding price, delivery time and the condition of the item. Matching is carried out using the EAN. You can create individual offers for each marketplace.

Add tax information

As an EU seller, you simply need to add your OSS number or enter a country-specific VAT registration number (VAT ID) for each Kaufland sales channel. As a non-EU seller, you must, in all cases, register for tax in the relevant country.

Add legal texts

The legal texts must be saved in the language of each sales channel and must follow each country’s local law. To simplify the entry of legal texts for you, you will find an input screen for imprint data, GTCs and the revocation policy.

Enter returns address

To complete the “Returns address” item, enter the address of the warehouse to which returns should be sent. The return address must be located in the EU. If you already sell on a Kaufland marketplace, you have the option of using your existing return address.

Check warehouses

During the onboarding process, the warehouse settings are optional. They are shown as ‘processed’ because, by default, the system uses the company address you provided during registration as the warehouse address. 

Go live and get started

Once you have completed all settings and listed your offers, click the “Publish now” button to activate the respective sales channel. Only then will your offers be published and presented to our mutual customers.
