2: Creating offers
To create an FBK offer, first go to the My Offers page in the Seller Portal. Then click on the + Create FBK Offer button in the top right and select the desired sales channel.
Then carry out the following steps:
Step 1: Product selection
To add new offers, you can either enter the EAN of the product, the product title or keywords in the search field or search your own offers in the Own inventory tab. You can add more offers via the + Create FBK Offer field.
If you do not find a product in the search bar, you must first create it in the product data.
Once you have added all products to the offer creation, click on the Add properties to products button to proceed to the next step.
If you enter an EAN which is not allowed due to our current product requirements for FBK, it will be flagged as “Prohibited”. We will inform you in the event that our product requirements for FBK change.
An alternative solution: Creating several offers at once using a CSV file
To create multiple FBK offers at once, you can add up to 50 products simultaneously using the CSV upload function.
- Use the template provided in the top right.
- Click on the Upload product data button in the top right.
- Enter the EAN of the products for which you want to create an offer.
Using the CSV upload you can also provide product information such as: price, dangerous goods, width, height, length (in mm) and weight (in grams).
Step 2: Adding product properties
Please add all required product properties, such as product dimensions, weight and sales price. If your product is not ready for shipping, you must ensure there is enough space for the outer packaging. You can find further information on transport packaging in the Shipment & Packaging guidelines in the General Delivery Conditions.
Please note: For some products (products with lithium batteries and lithium cells), you must provide information about hazardous materials. This information needs to be entered in the corresponding product data page by adding the “Dangerous goods label: LI shipping” attribute and entering the UN number in the attribute field of the same name. If the item does not contain hazardous materials, click on the No option for that item. More information about products which are classified as dangerous goods can be found here.
Once you have entered all the item information, you can click on the Offer summary button at the bottom right to check your offers. If you would like to add more offers, you can click on the Back to search products link at the bottom left.
Step 3: Offer summary
On the last page, you can check the information you’ve entered before forwarding the offers to Kaufland Global Marketplace for review. If information is incorrect or products are missing, you can navigate to the relevant pages via the Back to product properties link at the bottom left.
Please note: As of 1st July 2023, Kaufland Global Marketplace verifies and validates the WEEE registration numbers of all sellers who sell electrical and electronic equipment. If you want to send electrical and electronic equipment with FBK, please make sure that you have saved the WEEE registration number in your seller account in the Seller Portal. If any of your offers is missing a WEEE number, you can find it in the Incomplete section.
Step 4: Checking the offers
Kaufland Global Marketplace review your offers as soon as possible and notify you by e-mail if any of your offers have been rejected. You can view the status of all your offers in the Seller Portal by clicking on My Offers.
- Active offers: The offers have been accepted and are now live
- Paused: The offer has been accepted and temporarily been paused in the marketplace.
- Out of stock: The offer has been accepted but is currently out of stock.
- Declined: The offer requires further processing (see details).
- Declined/forbidden: The offer does not comply with the FBK Product Restrictions.
- In review: The offer is still in review by Kaufland Global Marketplace.
- Incomplete: The offers in the “Incomplete” section are hidden and cannot be found on the marketplace. Please add all missing information to these offers,e.g. WEEE number.
If offers were rejected during the internal review, please proceed as follows: Open the offer overview via the link in the e-mail you received or click on “My Offers” and navigate to the Declined/forbidden offers tab.
Depending on the status, you can now revise your offers and resubmit them for review by Kaufland Global Marketplace. You can find the Edit button for the relevant offers in the offer list at the corresponding link.
Information according to the Market Surveillance Ordinance (MÜ-VO)
If all the information is correct, please check that you have provided photos for all products subject to the MÜ-VO. Then tick the corresponding check box and click on the Create and send offers for review button.
