Seller registration

Sell on all Kaufland marketplaces with just one registration.

Head to kaufland.com/join and click “Registration” to start your registration. Select the subscription package that suits your needs best and click on “Register as a seller now”.

This is where you save all of the information about your seller account. You will need a valid e-mail address and password for logging into the Seller Portal . Please make sure to also carefully read through all of the conditions for sales on Kaufland Global Marketplace and tick the necessary boxes once you are done. 

In this step, please enter a pseudonym for your seller presence on the Kaufland marketplaces. This pseudonym will be visible for all customers as soon as you have published your offers. Then enter the average number of items you will be offering and in which categories you would like to sell them. Please note that additional requirements must be met for certain products in order to be able to sell them on the marketplaces.

Please define if you are acting as a natural person, a partnership or legal entity and enter all further company details, including tax law-related information.

In this step, you will need to upload your personal identification card, your business registration as well as your commercial register excerpt (no older than four weeks) so that we can verify you as a person. The individual files may not be larger than 4 MB. If you are not acting in your own name, you can also enter the beneficial owner here.

Enter your contact details for our customer service and Seller Support. Customer service processes queries from the customers while Seller Support acts as the point of contact for our sellers. Please also enter the authorised representative within the meaning of the Market Surveillance Regulation in this step. This is necessary in order to sell products which are subject to a CE labelling requirement and are manufactured outside of the EU. Please note that, without this information, you will not be able to offer any products that fall under this regulation on the Kaufland marketplaces. You can find more information on this in the declaration of conformity.

Finally, please review all of the information you have entered and complete your registration. You must have completed all mandatory fields.

After completing your registration, your details will be reviewed by the Kaufland Global Marketplace team. If all required data is complete, your seller account will be activated within three working days.

You will receive an e-mail once your seller account has been activated. Please click on the link in the e-mail and login using your login details (the e-mail address and password that you entered during registration). Now select your primary country sales channel.

You can change your primary sales channel at any time by going to Settings > Shop settings > Subscription.

You will then be redirected to the further settings. You can now start with the onboarding for the selected sales channels (find out more at Onboarding).

You can add further sales channels at any time free of charge. To do this, click on the “Add sales channel” drop-down menu at the top of the Dashboard view in the Seller Portal. Then simply select the sales channel you want.
