Sharing is caring: Personally recommend Kaufland marketplace and sell with no basic fee for three
months

Do you enjoy selling with Kaufland Global Marketplace?

Are you familiar with the marketplaces?

Do you have a network of sellers who also sell online?

Then share your positive experiences with online sellers you know and with your personal
network! For a successful referral, we will say a big “thank you” to both you and the referred
seller with a three-month exemption from the basic fee for selling on all Kaufland
marketplaces.

You are an important part of our Marketplaceworld community. If you have any questions
about the promotion, please feel free to contact our personal Seller-Support.

Here’s how simple it is:

To do this, simply replace the word SHOPNAME with your Kaufland pseudonym: KGM-SHOPNAME
Example: If your Kaufland pseudonym is “ABC-Shop”, then your individual voucher code is KGM-ABC-SHOP.

Share your individual voucher code with the marketplace sellers you have selected who do not yet sell on the Kaufland marketplaces.

The seller you refer can then use the individual voucher code on the registration page.

Once the eligibility criteria have been successfully verified, you and the seller you have referred will receive your reward of three months of sales with no basic fee on all of the Kaufland marketplaces.

Do you have any questions or need help? Our Seller Support will be happy to assist you.

Terms and conditions for participation in the “Sellers refer sellers” promotion

1. Organiser

The promotion is organised by Kaufland Marketplace GmbH, Stiftsbergstraße 1, 74172 Neckarslum, Germany.

2. Eligibility

Participation in this promotion is open to all online sellers who actively sell on at least one Kaufland marketplace.

3. Months without a basic fee

(1) If a seller (new, referred seller) registers on a Kaufland marketplace based on the referral of another seller (referring, already registered seller), both sellers shall be exempt from paying the contractually agreed basic fee for the platform for a period of three months. The referred seller may not already be registered with Kaufland at the time of the referral.
(2) The previously registered seller and the organiser assume that this constitutes an exchange of services (referral of a new seller in return for a three-month waiver of the basic fee) within the framework of a compensation transaction. The service shall be deemed to have been rendered at the time when the mediation has been successfully completed.

4. Voucher code

(1) The referring seller creates their personal voucher code. They share this with their network and recommend registering with the organiser as a seller.
(2) If a referred seller registers on the basis of this recommendation, they shall use the voucher code of the referring seller during the registration process.
(3) The months without a basic fee for both sellers will be activated as soon as the organiser has confirmed the registration of the referred seller, quoting the voucher code. With this confirmation, the mediation is considered successfully completed within the meaning of Paragraph 3.

5. Remuneration

(1) Both the mediation service and the three-month exemption from basic fees for already registered sellers are equivalent in value and are subject to statutory value added tax.
(2) The already registered seller and the organiser agree to mutual invoicing. The parties’ services shall be invoiced after successful mediation.
(3) Invoices must enable the respective service recipient to claim input tax deductions in accordance with section 15 of the German VAT Act (Umsatzsteuergesetz – UStG). The invoices must include a reference to the offsetting transaction (each invoice must state: “Offsetting transaction with settlement”). To avoid any misunderstandings, it is hereby agreed for the sake of clarity that each Party’s payment claims will be offset against the payment claims of the other Party.
(4) The organiser is authorised to issue an invoice to the previously registered seller using the credit note procedure. The previously registered seller receiving the credit (supplier for VAT purposes) must verify the substantive accuracy of the credit and report any discrepancies in writing. The foregoing shall apply in particular with regard to the formal requirements for a self-billing invoice within the meaning of section 14 (4) UStG.

6. Exclusion from participation

If the referred seller does not use the voucher code when registering, they cannot be assigned to the referring seller and the conditions of participation are not met. The months without a basic fee cannot then be activated. In this case, no mediation service is provided by the previously registered seller to the organiser.

7. Promotional period
The promotion ends on 19th March 2026.

8. Premium payment
A payout of the premium amount is not possible.

9. Liability
The organiser is not liable for technical faults that could impair participation in the “Sellers refer sellers” promotion, nor for any impairment resulting from participation.

10. Changes to the terms and conditions of participation
The organiser reserves the right to change the conditions of participation at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes in good time.

11. Final provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply. The place of jurisdiction is Neckarsulm, Germany. Should any provision of these GTCs be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected..
